About Andrea

I’m an educator and counselor-in-training. My work and learning sit at the intersection of teaching, student well-being, and mental health advocacy.

My story

Teaching has shaped how I see people: capable, complex, and worthy of support. Over time, I became especially interested in how school environments affect emotional well-being—both for students and for the adults who care for them.

This website is a professional home for that work: a place to share reflections, explore ideas, and document growth as I continue my education.

Graduate training (in progress)

I’m beginning a master’s program in counseling. My focus is on learning, ethics, and the long-term preparation required to serve others responsibly.

  • Status: In progress
  • Current aim: Build strong foundations through coursework, supervision, and reflective practice
  • How I share: Education-focused writing and thought leadership

What this site is (and isn’t)

This is

  • A professional identity and writing space
  • Reflections on education and mental health advocacy
  • Notes from graduate training, shared responsibly

This is not

  • A place to request counseling
  • Personalized guidance for individual situations
  • A substitute for professional support
